The 3 People Who You Should Buy Flowers for During Back To School

It’s August, meaning the days are getting shorter and that first day of school is right around the corner. It’s needless to say that for most students, going back to school isn’t exactly met with happiness and joy, but doom and gloom. It means getting up early, studying and homework! But there are certain things that you can do to make sure that the school year starts off on the right note for your student. And aside from outfitting your student with the right supplies, outfits and apparel, sending your students back to school with flowers to distribute to certain staff members won’t only put a surprised smile on their faces, but also score some brownie points for you and your student.

So just who should you gift flowers to during back to school time? Here’s a look at three worthy school and district staff members:

  • The bus driver: If your student rides a bus, giving a flower to the bus driver can literally make their day. A bouquet consisting of daisies, roses or sunflowers can make for an unexpected – and pleasant – token of appreciation for your student’s bus driver, who are often largely under appreciated for all that they do. So be sure to consider thanking the bus driver with a nice summer arrangement for getting your student to and from school every day safely.
  • The principal: Principals don’t have it easy, what with managing an entire school staff to make sure it’s functioning properly and to its potential. So why not send your student with a begonia plant, sunflower bowl or daisy basket to help them kick off the school year right. The flowers look great in an office and will bring a smile to your principal’s face every time she sees them.
  • The teacher: If your student is in an elementary school grade and will only have one teacher for the school year, it can be a great token of appreciation and welcoming to gift that teacher a bouquet of flowers on the first day of school. For teachers, consider a daisy basket or sunflower arrangement, something that will help bring color and warmth to the classroom environment. Giving your student’s teacher a flower arrangement can also help get your student off on the right foot with his or her teacher as well.
