Choosing Funeral Flowers – Griffin’s Floral Designs

funeral flowersWhen a loved one passes away, there can be some confusion as to what are the appropriate funeral flowers to send. While any gift of sympathy will be appreciated, Griffin’s Floral Design has assembled many choices in a variety of categories to make your choice a little easier.

Funeral or sympathy sets are most often chosen by the immediate family of the deceased, and help to ease the burden of selecting all of the arrangements by offering a coordinating casket spray, standing sprays, and wreaths that can be purchased separately or together. These funeral flowers can be delivered the same day, ensuring that the family does not have to worry about the details.

Standing sprays, wreaths and hearts displayed on easels, or other flowers appropriate for the service are available for friends, colleagues and extended family to send. These large arrangements are sent to the funeral home, church or gravesite and can be easily moved from one location to another if necessary.
Planter baskets and sympathy bouquets can be sent to either the memorial service or to the family home. Often you may not have time to have the florals sent to the service, but a home delivery is considered just as meaningful. We also have thoughtful gifts such as sympathy throws and funeral wind chimes to remember the deceased in a way that will show your support for years to come. funeral flowers
Traditionally, flowers such as white lilies and roses were used to express sympathy and condolences; however these days many choose to utilize variety to express their feelings. They may choose the favorite flowers of the deceased, or perhaps have one of our designers create a custom piece that uniquely reflects the life of the loved one. At Griffin’s Floral Design, we acknowledge that every life is special, and offer you a wide selection of options to honor them in a way that is just as distinctive and personal.
We are privileged to assist you during this difficult time.
